Frequently asked questions
Is this an official DoD or DTS app?
No. TDY Slayer is built by Southwind Digital LLC, a small veteran-owned company. It's a private tool that makes the official DTS process faster and more accurate — you still file your voucher in DTS.
How well does it actually read receipts?
Incredibly well. If you can read it, the app can read it — including the messy multi-page hotel folios that cause most voucher problems. It's not perfect, but it tells you when it isn't confident, and you can edit anything.
Does it handle foreign currency and OCONUS trips?
Yes. Foreign receipts convert to USD using the official Treasury rates for that date, and per diem works for overseas and remote locations — including International Date Line crossings.
What about Non-A letters and on-base vs off-base?
It spots when you're on base or need a Non-A letter and asks the right questions. Once you confirm, it uses the correct rate for those nights.
What does it cost?

Is my data private?
Your trips and receipts live on your device. Documents are sent securely to our cloud service and AI providers for processing. Our infrastructure briefly stores documents so processing can finish in the background, then deletes them as described in our policy. AI providers apply their own data-handling terms. Sign in with Apple does not require sharing your name or email. Details in the privacy policy.
